The Counties Manukau West Team

Colleen O'Brien | Youth Worker


Colleen holds a Bachelor of Social Work degree and brings and joined Genesis Youth Trust in 2016. Colleen brings her experience of working in other agencies with youth at risk to her role with Genesis.

Moses Lehauli | Youth Worker


Moses has completed his Batchelor of Social Work degree and has been with Genesis Youth Trust since 2015 and brings his experience with local youth programmes in the area and his love of music to his role.

Sam Sinipata | Youth Worker


Sam is studying towards his Batchelor of Social Work and has been with Genesis Youth Trust since 2015. Sam brings his passion for working with youth at risk and experienced gained through previous work in the area to his role with Genesis.

Su'e Masina | Youth Worker


Su'e holds a Certificate in Performance Arts, Advanced Certificate in Performance Arts, and Certificate in Christian Ministries. Su'e has been with Genesis Youth Trust since 2015 and brings his love of performing arts to his work with young people.



The Counties Manukau South Team

Vivienne Kapua | Youth Worker


Vivienne holds a Bachelor of Arts and a Certificate Business Admin. She is currently working towards her Bachelor of Social Work Degree. Vivienne has been with Genesis Youth Trust since 2015 and brings a wealth of experience working with young people in South Auckland.

Jonathan Phillips | Youth Worker

After previously working with Genesis and taking a break from Youth Work, Jonathan returned to Genesis Youth Trust in 2016. Jonathan holds a National Certificate in Maori and is working towards his Batchelor of Social Practice.



The Auckland East Team

Tai Brown | Youth Worker


Tai holds a Batchelor of Social Practice and is the Tongan representative for the Auckland City Police Pacifica Advisory Board. Tai brings a wealth of experience to his role and enjoys working with youth in the Glen Innes area.

Richard Takapautolo | Child Case Manager

Richard holds a Bachelor of Social Practice and is currently completing a Post Graduate Degree in Supervision. Like other staff working in Glen Innes, Richard benefits from a strong relationship with Youth Aid in the area to provide support for young people in the area.



The Support Services Team

William Puiri | Youth Mentor


William holds a Certificate in Sports & Recreation, Diploma in Sports & Recreation, Degree in Hospitality Management and a Level 4 Certificate in Youth Work. William has been with Genesis Youth Trust since 2015 and loves his Youth Mentoring role.

Richard Lewis | Counsellor


Richard holds a Diploma in Counselling and Biblical Studies and, in addition or offering counselling for youth and their families, coordinates the Whanau Programme in Counties Manukau West, South and in East Auckland.

Tauva Ah Hing | Part Time Counsellor


Tauva provides Counselling for young people and their families providing additional support on a part time basis.

Danielle Faalolo | Part Time Mentor


Danielle began her association with Genesis as a volunteer and now is employed part time to work with the Support Services Team and particularly with young women referred to Genesis.
